Hi I am 40 yrs and have been taken norethin ace 5 mg/ aygestin ( I taken them for 12 days every month) for 3 months now and my cycle has not been any different. Why I went to the docs was because my monthly would start late and last for 14 days off and on, I had a my tubes tied 5 years ago and about a year ago is when it started to do this. Right now I am on my 39th day in my cycle ,but I had something start about the 29th day which made me think it was going to but then it stopped after the 3rd day it was light and brown and now I see nothing yet and wondering if it is going to start.I am supose to start taking the meds again on the 5th in april but my cycle should have been halfway done by then.I don't know if I had a byopsy he took internal tests, not sure if that was one or not.My other choices he gave me was birth contol everyday or a histerectomy. Was wondering if it takes awhile for this to work or can my tubes grow back and I be pregnant or am I starting to go through menopause? I'm about to give up on this med and go to herbs or something,kind of confused about the whole thing, by the way I have and do get cramps light ones but nothing happens.
