Can Yeast infect gland ducts?.....(For docs)

Is it possible for a Bartholin's gland duct to become infected with yeast? I had a yeast infection a few months ago. I used Monistat 1 and it went away. I went to a doctor and all the yeast and BV cultures came back negative. I was given a fluconazole pill ( I think just to ease my mind cuz the culture was negative )and that helped but it came back a couple weeks later. But ever since then sex has been painful and it's painful to use tampons. The pain is localized to the left side of the vaginal opening but when I look at it there's nothing there, it's not really swollen or red and there's no sore or anything. Sometimes when I have sex it bleeds a little from that spot. I can also feel a stinging pain on the left side behind the vaginal wall. I have an appointment in a few weeks with a new doc (my old one was convinced it was all in my head). I'm also on ortho tricyclen if that info helps. Have you doctors seen many cases like this before? And what should I expect at the appointment?
