lazy ovariesFrom: Emily (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 27 Mar 2003 08:49:41 -0600 (CST)
i searched the archives and found some messages posted in 1997 on this same topic.. but i need some clarification. i get my periods very rarely (2 to 3 times a year) and when it does come, it can scarcely be called a period. very little comes out... hardly anything and very diluted.. an ultrasound show's that my uterus is clear and blood tests show normal hormone levels.. i was told that it's just lazy ovaries.. and that later i can take medication to stimulate ovulation if i want to get pregnant.. am currently not on any medication. Is there any cause to worry about PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome, or Prolonged unopposed estrogen?
