My orgasms, (which used to be very strong), are now barely there. History: I have been taking Atenolol for about 1-year for mild high blood pressure. Because of this, my gyn doc took me off birth control pills. I then tried Depo, but gained 12 pounds in four months, so now I am off of Depo. (Hubby got vasectomy.) Orgasm/clitoris problems seem to have started when I got off the pill. Is it possible that the lack of hormones from the pill have caused this? Is this a side effect of peri-menopause?
