Haillie I don't have a real answer for you. It just may be that your immune system is hyperreactive to any foreign bodies. Remember your tonsils are just large lymph glands and may be that these lymph glands are stimulated whenever you have sexual intercourse. The same thing used to happen in the whenever I drank lemon juice.
