extremely long luteal phase?From: Becky (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 21 Mar 2003 14:16:32 -0600 (CST)
I was diagnosed with PCOS quite a few years ago, and recently I started trying out different vitamins & herbs, as well as a low-carbohydrate diet and regular exercise. For the first time ever at the end of November, I had a period that was not induced by Provera. Then again at the end of January, same thing. At that point, I decided to start charting my BBT to determine if I was ovulating. 30 days into my cycle, it appears that I ovulated, and now I'm 28 days post-ovulation with no period and sustained high temperatures. Multiple HPTs have been negative. What else could cause such a lengthy luteal phase?
