I have hypoactive thyroid and "nodules" as they referred to them as. Are you on Synthroid or any thyroid hormone pill? All of my levels (T4 and TSH) were normal but my thyroperoxidase ang thyroglubin antibodies were VERY high which was what the Endocrinologist said was causing the growths. I have several M&M sized nodules which he says should be taken care of with an increase in Synthroid.

I was totally freaked out too but that much more relieved when I found out it was okay (in a sense). I wasn't happy with the "quack" of a doctor but I was happy that my levels were normal for once. Good luck
