Lapidus M.D.: "Re: umbilical endometriosis" I had an umbilical hernia repaired last week and the doctor tells me they found endometrial tissue in the umbilicus. I can't seem to find anything out about this on the internet. I am going to have a spiral ct scan to r/o malignancy. How common is it for endometriosis to be malignant? Any info would be appriciated.
