My clitoris started becoming enlarged, I went to my OBGYN, Dr. Leigh Barrell at Rome OBGYN in December 2002. She had not seen this before but said it was not abnormal. Now it is March 10. I called numerous times and on Friday March 7th, it became so sore and enlarged, I placed an emergency call to her. At 6 pm she returned my call and stated she had been trying to get in touch with an endocrinoligist. No treatment advised. On Saturday, it started bleeding and I started hot sitz baths. on Sunday a milky bloody discharge started and it began to go down. I contacted her again today, but her nurse said she is off today and maybe can see me tommorrow afternoon. This is most certainly some type of infection. I am 54 years old, married. Her nurse advised it would not do any good to go to emergency room as they would not know what to do. Please advise.
