Pelvic Sonogram Result QuestionFrom: Valerie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 8 Mar 2003 10:03:07 -0600 (CST)
I recently had a pelvic sonogram done due to pain on my right side. The results are as follows: Uterus appears to have a bi-cornuate apearance. Right ovary has a complex/cystic area present that measures 3.2 x 2.7 x 2.5 cm Heterogeneous internal echoes are present Left ovary has some fluid surrounding it Fluid extends into the posterior cud-de-sac area I have had (3) laporotomies in the last 14 years. The most recent being April of 2002. What do these results mean? Another surgery? Nothing to worry about? Thank you.
