Just a note - I am not a doctor, just letting you know my own experience with the shot. I started the shot when I was 16, stopped, started it again at 17, kept if for close to a year, stopped and started it again when I was 19, then stopped. Each time varied, but all of the times it took me at least 2-3 months to regain my period, and even then it wasn't consistant. The second time, which was the longest time, I believe it took me a good 6 months to get my period back. The pamplet says it can take up to 9 months. If you are worried you should see a doctor about it, but I want to let you know that it isn't necessarily a bad sign yet. ;}

-hope this helps ease your mind a little.
