Re: Are these post-op problems?From: anonymous@obgyn.netFri, 7 Mar 2003 10:15:30 EST
I am 5 months post-op TAH/BSO for undiagnosed chronic pelvic and back pain with cervical dysplasia, HPV 16,18,35, and previous conization. Diagnosis post-op was cervical dysplasia and adenomyosis. My HRT is not correct yet (still having hot flashes, intense hunger, and depression/moodiness). My question is that I often currently have almost daily pelvic pain (right and left sides), daily back pain, sometimes left shoulder pain. I had a cholecystectomy last May. I also have terrible dyspepsia whenever I eat or drink, yet feel hungry all the time. I awake with terrible nausea which occurs frequently all day and night. Can anyone tell me what is going on? When I asked my gyn he said the hunger was just from the hysterectomy and to become proactive the my diet and exercise, and that the back pain was probably due to strain. Can anyone help?
