Regina:

Endometriosis cannot be diagnosed without a laparoscopy. We all may experience different symptoms. I actually did have painful ovulation -- come to think of it, I ended up having pain three weeks out of the month - I ended up having a lap in which Stage 3 endo was found and ***excised***. Since having the surgery and *staying away* from the bc pill (the bc pill contributed to my pain), I am painfree!!! Many women who have endo describe your pain of ovulation and periods. Then again, as Dr. Lapidus said, it could be something else. Don't be discouraged -- and go with the best doc who is most familiar with laparoscopic treatment. Try to find a good specialist in your area. Check out the following website for info.
