Different opinions on Chaning your period on Ortho Tri-Cyclen?

So I want to push my period back a week and I am on Ortho Tri-Cyclen...from what I have read in the forums, the way to do this is by skipping the placebo (sugar) pills and starting a new pack. However, the responses in the forum differ. The Ortho Tri-Cyclen starts with 7 white active pills, goes to 14 active blue pills and then 7 green placebo pills. One doctor said to skip the placebo pills and continue the active blue pills from another pack Others seem to say just to start a new pack (with the white pills) I really need to know which (maybe both) will push back my period. Thanks
