Started period at 12. Horrible cramps. Diagnosed with severe dysmenorrhea at 16 and put on the pill. Still had bad cramps. Anaprox, torodol, and cataphlam wouldn't work after a few months or so. Doc said that if the cramps kept up I'd have to have surgery to ck for endo. I freaked and started lying about the severity of cramps. I still have really bad cramps but not as bad as before birth control. Before I wouldn't be able to unfold my body. I had to be carried out of school twice b/c my middle wouldn't relax. Now I just stoop a bit for 2-3 days during my period. For the last 2 months I have had increasing pain in the area of my right ovary. It now occurs everyday. I've also started to have pain in my back. Would it wait this long to start getting more severe? I had a laser cone 3 weeks ago and I thought it was related to that at first but now I'm starting to freak myself out with all the other possibilities. I also have painful bowel movements and an increase in gas in the last week. And when I say increase, I mean I now have really nasty gas beginning about 3 pm EVERYDAY. Could it get bad so fast? I'm just really confused. I got for my post op ck up Monday and will talk to my doc but I don't want to seem like an idiot just looking for an excuse for weird symptoms! Thanks, Margaret
