endometreitis, what are the symptomsFrom: regina (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 6 Mar 2003 15:01:23 -0600 (CST)
i am a 30 yr old mother of four. when i was 13 i started my mensis. during one particular ovulation the pain was so intense in the right side the doctors at first thought appendicitis. they later said it had to do with the ovulation and recomended the pill. i went on it until i conceived my first child @ 20. since i have not been using any other solutions for the pain. i thought it was just something i would have to live with. i had a miscarriage in 98 the doctors could not find the reason. after the d/c i had extreme hemoraging. since i have given birth to my fouth child, and the pain during ovulation and menstration have gotten so bad that on those days it is even painful to sit. i've spoken to friends about this who have endometreitis and they say that i might have it. fertility is not the problem, and my periods are not sporatic, the amount of bleeding is, and it is so heavy i have to wear overnight pads the whole week of my period. does this sound like endometreitis?
