Sometimes even dcos do not know everything. I had a similar problem,
ended up with a hysterectomy due to the pain and bleeding, and to this
day they just dont know why. A simple blood test for hormones should
rule out or confirm menopause. Only link I can see is that we were both
on depo, but I only did that for 6 mo. and another family member also
went through it(bleeding issue)....may be genetic, I dont know.
