i a 32 yr. old female that has experienced over the past 8 months extreme pelvic pain over the left ovary with excessive bleeding along with signs & symptoms of menopause. i have gone to my ob/gyn and have had two ultra sounds (inner and external), cat scan, blood tests and a colonoscopy all of which have come back negetive. upon a pelvic exam by my ob/gyn, a small mass was found on the left side by the ovary that was extremely painful when touched. the doctor is not sure what this is and does not know how to treat me. there is a history in my family that all the women start menopause at the age of 28 and all have had hysterectomies by the age of 40. my ob/gyn is very hesitant on doing a laproscopy or any other surgery to find the problem. does anyone know what this may be, what other testing can be done to find the mass and resolve the pain? also, my ob/gyn does not feel i am in menopause and does not want to prescribe hormone therepy.

my symptoms: left pelvic pain by left ovary dull to sharp over the past 8 months excessive heavy bleeding (from start to finish - continually over a month and a half.) fatigue weight gain (3 to 5 pounds per month since onset) headaches pain during sex pain when stress levels are high pain even when i am not doing anything white smelly leakage when not bleeding unalbe to sleep through an entire night

all signs and symptoms associated with menopause

previous depro provera patient (last shot jan 2003 - have been on depro for over 5 years) now on birth control pills

any information, medical testing and procedures would be greatly appreciated.
