Leanne, I hate to bring bad news but it could possibly mean you have something called HPV. Did they mention CIN or dysplasia? If so then you do. HPV is a sexually transmitted virus that can cause dysplasia or precancerous changes of the cervix. It can also rarely they say affect the vagina, vulva, and anus. If you smoke try to quit so your immune system can beat it. I think you should talk with your doctor and ask him if you have dysplasia (CIN) and HPV. If you do have HPV maybe he should do a test to determine the risk level (of cancer). i don't know if they plan to treat you but usually they can do cryosurgery or LEEP procedure. I had cryo for CIN and it wasnt bad. Please do not be scared or feel bad because this is a very common virus. I suggest you join gyngals a yahoo group. They are very supportive and can help you with lab reports and advice. Take care.
