hemangioma on L4From: lil (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 4 Mar 2003 17:01:13 -0600 (CST)
I have some questions. I have lots of pain on my lower lumbar area, more sacrol lumbar. The pain is intense. When it first started it was a deep nagging discomfort, after I had a myomectomy(removal of fibroids) the pain intensified. The area feels like it is inflammed. I cannot sit hardly at all and cannot lay flat comfortably. Before every bowel movement the pain in that area sacrol becomes worse and after bowel movement it just burns. My whole hip area, lower lumbar/tailbone/lower spine burn. It has the sensation that there is a knot or something sticking out. My lower abs are starting to hurt also. It also goes from the lower lumbar on the left to upward towards my ribcage. I have been dealing with this to no avail. I am still having tests. So far the only positive thing we know for sure is a hemangioma at the L4on the left and minimal disk bulging on L4 &5. I cannot do anything physical without pain. Could this hemangioma be the source, I know that the blood vessels can somehow become entangled or twisted. Could this have anything to do with the removal of the fibroid in that area. Please help desperate!!
