From Ortho Tricyclen to Triphasil because of bloating... any logical sense?

I complained to my gyno about frequently feeling bloated, and she recommended that I switch from ortho-tricyclen to triphasil. She wrote me the prescription, and trusting her, I took it to the pharmacy. After having done some research, however, I realized that her move makes no logical sense to me. Isn't bloating a result of estrogen? According to some sites, triphasil has higher estrogenicity than ortho-tricyclen. The high levels of progestin also worry me, and the fact that the progestin in it is 3rd generation. I sometimes have trouble with occasional acne. Doesn't androgenicity of 3rd generation progesterone cause it? Should I be worried? Am I mis-understanding something here? What should I do?
