Re: [Birth Control] 2 b/c pills as a morning after pill?

I believe that the purpose of the pill is to supress ovulation-. I think that it only effectively does this if taken religiously. If she was not "actively" taking them then---NO--- 2 pills after the fact will not do any good in preventing pregnancy. Now had she actively been taking the pill and merely skipped a day and then made up for that by popping two the next day- that may have helped her get back on track, but it will NOT terminate a successful conception. I believe that you have been misinformed. However, she too- may have been misinformed. I assume that you both are under a great deal of stress right now. Regardless of what the two of you decide- (should she in fact, be pregnant) I do hope that you give her the benefit of the doubt and that you both are there for each other. I see enough women post with questions regarding their confusion about the pill and how it works. If she has misunderstood- it truly could be forgivable... Hope this helps! I wish you both the very best. Sincerely, Amy Swanson At Mon, 3 Mar 2003, Kevin wrote: >
