RE-STATED QUESTION-Does BC if taken for a short time affect your normal cycle?

I took birth control (Necon 1/35) for one week. This was the first time
I had ever taken it. I missed 3 days in a row and decided to throw the
pack away and start again the following month. I am now 3 days late for
my period and I want to know whether or not taking the pill for those 7
days could affect my normal cycle. Thank you so much for your time.
