Hi. This is my first time here, and I hope someone can make me feel a little better. I am 23 years old and have 2 children--ages 4 yrs and 10 months. I do not want anymore children, and have an appointment to have my tubes tied on March 22. My problem is that I believe my period is about 3 or 4 days late. I have been cramping for the past 3 days like it is about to start, but so far nothing has happened. I am seriously freaking out. I can't have any more children--for one we can't afford it, and 2 we just don't want anymore. I can't take BC pills--I've been on every single brand there is and the hormones are all too strong for me and make me so sick I can't get out of bed, so we've always been very careful and our 2 children were both planned pregnancies. I am scared to death to buy a pregnancy test because I'm scared it will be positive. If anyone can help me...my question is can I be pregnant? I know that Feb. was a short month anyway, but if I were pregnant would I be cramping like this? I am very very stressed about this. Just my luck I would come up pregnant right before I am scheduled to have my tubes tied.
