I've been having problems on and off in that area since I was 19 (I'm now 25). It really flared up two years ago and finally more or less went away after 1 1/2 years. In hindsight, I was making the problem worse by washing twice per day and trying all those gynecological washes (dump the stuff and use Dove unscented). I am now struggling with on and off pain in the clitoris area but that's probably due to stress.

Yup, isn't it awful? My GP finally took me seriously after five years.

not really....but I went off the pill as my discharge dried up completely.

i rarely have any discharge, but its normal looking and >smelling.

your problem might be that you don't have enough discharge and your skin is dry as a consequence - try some unscented lotion.

did yours go kinda like, gets better, gets worse, but never >really went away?

sounds right :)

exercise often flares it up. did you try cortozone >cream? this is so horrible!! oh, one more question, how did sexual

Sex is actually good for it (provided no spermicide etc.) since the vaginal secretions actually made the skin feel better....

Do a search on vaginal irritations and dermititis on this forum - you'll get a lot of the desperate emails I wrote last year and the responses I got (Hi Michelle!) U.
