PCOS and breast pain....From: Lis (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 27 Feb 2003 13:19:59 -0600 (CST)
Hello! I was living abroad and had a five months period of amenorrhoea with breast pain (as if I were pregnant or they were growing)and weigth gain, the doctor gave me Dianette (Diane) for two mothns and it worked. Then I came back and went to one doctor, he gave me Clormadinone for three month but I noticed he really didn't care about my problem, since he didn't order any analysis. I chance to another doctor and he found two cystics, one in each ovary. In a hormonal analysis he saw that the Prolactine was low as well as progesteron. This doctor also gave me Dianette for three months, I am finishing the first one but the pain in the breast is really severe and my nipples are dry and also hurt me. Is there something I can do to decrease the pain?? Do I need another analysis or medicines??? I am more than worry about it!!!!! should I???
