endo stage IV

My understanding is that continuous oral contraceptives puts the disease of endometriosis in check, meaning it stops it from getting worse. Is this true even if you are stage IV? This is thinking from a point of doing the least if possible for as long as feasible.

Does this make sense for stage IV endo involving the bowels and bladder and appendix?

Is it better to recommended hysterectomy if you are going to need repetitive surgery and you will feel relief because you don't have to go through the constant less drastic surgery?

I guess that the real decision is how dangerous is hysterectomy and does it solve the bulk of the issues for stage IV endo? TTC is not an issue.

Thanks for your time- I respect your opinions.
