Doctors take much into consideration with this procedure. I wanted one after my 1st daughter, but they told me not until I was 21. Along came daughter #2 when I was 21 and they would have done it then(in AZ). If you do not have children they probably will not do it unless there is some medical reason you should not get pregnant. From what I have read in Michigan you should be over 25 and have at least two children, but this varies from state to state. I have also read there is no age requirement in Canada, nor do you have to be married, but the doctor will be sure you are mature and have thought about the decision seriously.
