Lapidus M.D.: "Re: 7 months post op - belly still bruised" Hi, I am 7 months post op hyst with Pfannenstiel incision. My belly is still bruised looking below my belly button. The bruised looking area is about 3x4" I had horrendous pain from about 1 month post op to 3 months post op. It has not really improved, but I've learned how to manage it. I've discovered I can get around as long as I wear real big clothes, clip seat belts off my belly, etc. Any help would be appreciated.
