Intercourse after Menses

Is it normal to experience little pain during intercourse in days right after the Menses. I know that the Cervix position is Low and it moves up as you approach the ovulation phase. So, is it normal(/possible) that the Cervix is being touched/pushed at the time of intercourse on those infertile days? And this may lead to some discomfort at the time of intercourse?
