Re: menstrual cramp and chocolate

My mother and I have the same problem, as do some of my friends. I have
found that for many women caffeine induces cramps, or makes them worse.
While coffee is the absolute worst, the caffeine in chocolate has a
similar effect. My dr. told me that this is NOT a coincidence, but
acutally quite common. If I am really craving chocolate while on my
period, I try to just have one small peice, and usually it doesnt affect
my cramps too much.
