Could this cause pain? Lapidus M.D.: "Re: Could this cause pain?" During the last few months I have had horrible bleeding and I went to the doctor and she told me it was because my lining in my uterus was 3mm. She told me that I would have to switch to a high dose estrogen pill for 4 months. But over the last month or so I have noticed that sex seems to really hurt but before it didn't. Could this be because of the 3mm lining? They have told me that I could have endometriosis a few months ago. But I am not sure what is causing this.
