35 mm follicle - is it too large?

I had an ultrasound today that showed a 35 mm follicle ("gigantic" as the nurse described) and I got an injection to induce ovulation. Is it bad to have a follicle this big? Can it bring any consequences? I have PCOS, 32 days cycle, on Glucophage XR 2000/day. I´ve been TTC for 4 years and miscarried twice (july 02 and jan 03).
