Hello all, I have recently (January 1st) been switched from 0.05 mgs of Synthroid to 0.075 mgs. Could this be what has caused me to gain 12 pounds in the last 2-3 weeks? This seems a little drastic. I had my thyroid levels checked yesterday and will know the results in a couple days. I have also quit smoking but haven't really changed my eating habits so I'm praying it's the thyroid meds. My free T4 and TSH levels are fine but there's some underlying autoimmune response (according to the endocrinologist). I also have 2 M&M size nodules on the right lobe. Should I ask my PC to put me back on 0.05 mgs of Synthroid? None of my clothes fit me anymore and I refuse to give in and buy a bigger size. :( Poor, poor pitiful me. Thanks for any info!
