I was finally diagnosed with endometriosis via laproscopic surgery in April 2000. The pain is crippling and I am so afraid of what damage is happening to my body. My doctor (Gyn) has wanted me to do the Lupron shot but I do not feel comfortable doing it b/c 1. I've heard it doesn't always work 2. the side effects are awful. The only thing that works right now is pain management. I want to have children and I am marrying this May. Are there any Endo specialists in VA? Thanks for your help.
