I recently had a pap smear and was told I have beta strep. I am to be put on antibotics and was told I should tell any sexual partners so that they can be treated as well. From information I have found on the internet, most seem to discuss this with pregancy. I am not and have never been pregnant. Is it normal for partners to be treated as well? What causes beta strep?
