[Birth Control] Generic version of ortho-cyclen

Generic version of ortho-cyclen has just recently (November 2002) become available, and already insurance companies are starting to require purchase of generic version. I know in some cases there is a difference in dosage between generic and brand name drugs which could make a difference. With generic version of ortho-cyclen being so new, is there enough data to support it not being one of these 'problem' drugs? This is not a medication I am eager to experiment with. Is there a guarantee that the generic version works just as well as brand? I appreciate any information related to this topic.
