I have been taking ortho-novum birth control pills for about 2 years now and have NEVER missed one. I may not take them at exactly the same time every day, but it's always within 2 or 3 hours of when I took the pill the day before. For the past two months, I've had all the symptoms of my period coming (cramps, bloating, back-aches, breast-tenderness, etc.), but there has been no bleeding. After I missed the first one, I took a pregnancy test, and it came out negative. So I continued to take my pills normally, and this month, the same symptoms showed up, but still no bleeding, so I took another pregnancy test, and it came out negative as well. What could the explanation be?
