Hi Avalon, I'm 53 and I certainly can relate to your issues, especially the sleep problems! I also have endo and had fibroids removed in 1989. The fatigue and depression are both common symptoms and very much interrelated. You do seem to have a somewhat stressful lifestyle (the long commute, etc.) which only adds to the problem. I have been using natural progesterone therapy for almost 9 years now and have everything pretty much controlled except the sleep issues but I think, as with you, I am also in the final stage of perimenopause and I am hoping the sleeping evens out once I get "over the hump"! Dr. John Lee's books (meno, premeno, breast cancer) all address these symptoms, how hormones cause them, and how to handle them safely and effectively. His website is http://www.johnleemd.com and his books are also available in many health food and book stores as well as on the web (Amazon.com, etc.). Knowledge is the best weapon against these issues. If you'd like to talk more email me at bj@biotronikusa.com. Take care! BJ
