Once again thanks for your response. Amanda, I think you should call your OB and ask for a script for Metrogel or Clindamycin- and tell them what the ER doc prescribed. You will probably speak to the nurse, who will agree with what the pharmacist, not the ER, says. Don't ever be afraid to call your doctor- they're ALL busy. If they won't take time to help you, go elsewhere. My OBGYN is extremely busy,but always fits in his patients. The stories you read on the internet are distorted- BV is ASSOCIATED with pre-term labor but doesn't cause it.
