I have been diagnosed with cervical dysplasia and high grade SIL after a colposcopy. The purpose of the visit to my doctor was a urinary inflamation which causes pain at the end of urination. Six months ago I was treated with phenazopyridine and cypro but after, results showed there was no UTI. I was free of pain six months but again the pain is very strong . The day of the copolscopy I was begining my period which was three weeks late and had a severe bladder inflamation. Can there be a connection between severe inflamation of the bladder , and the results of the colscopy. I was recomendedto perform a Loop procedure but I am scared that this has nothing to do with my bladder problem and I will end up just with more exams and more pain. What is your opinion? Should I repeat the exam? Thank you very much, annonymous
