50mg progesterone too little?? Please HELP!" Hi, I asked about this earlier but nobody would answer, so I would really appreciated and answer. After two early miscarriages in the last 7 months I got diagnosed with a luteal phase defect. I have progesterone levels of: 11.7 at 5 days post ovulation that drops down to 8.7 by 7 days post ovulation. Then by 10 days post ovulation it was 2.4 and I got my period two days later. I went for my follow up appointment today, the doctor prescribed 50mg of progesterone in the suppository form. She told me this is the norm and should be enough. ***Is it true that 50mg of progesterone is enough?
