Lapidus M.D.: "Re: [Birth Control] birth control effectiveness" I stopped taking birth control 3 months ago and now I am going back on it but with Aleese this time instead of Tri-cyclin. I know that I'm supposed to start taking it next month but I don't remember whether or not to take it after the last day of my period, or at the start of my period. I thought the Doctor said take it on the 1st day and then it will be effective right away but I can't remember. Will it be effective the first month? When should I start?
