I'm currently 5 to 6 weeks pregnant and found out today I have bacterial Vaginosis. I've had the infection now for close to 4 days without even knowing and am using Metrogel vaginal cream or gel twice a day for 5 days. Even if my infection clears up after treatment am I at risk of having a miscarriage in my second or third trimester? I would think this would apply for women that leave the infection untreated I can't believe after taking medications to clear up the BV I'm still going to have a miscarriage later in my pregnancy..
