bladder suspension surgeryFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netWed, 5 Feb 2003 20:37:30 -0600 (CST)
I had bladder suspension surgery, historectomy & rectocele surgery on November 11, 2002. Everything went fine with the surgery except for the bladder suspension. I feel like I went from one extreme to another. Before surgery I had a constant leaking problem diagnosed as stress incontenance, now after the surgery, I am having a huge problem with not being able to control my bladder. It has been 3 months since my surgery and all my doctor says is it takes time to heal. Well, I have already urinated on myself at work, because the minute I stood up to go to the restroom, it just started flowing and I could do nothing to stop it. I am going to get a second opinion, because my doctor finds this amusing. Well, I don't. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
