Pap only looks for cervical abnormalities. If you have any other type of issues, then you need an appointment. It would probably be a good idea to have it checked if for no other reason than the post exercise bleeding. The pain could be just adhesions and they can be dealt with either by laparoscopy and lysing them or physical therapy if you can find a physical therapist that specializes in women's health. I had that done and it was wonderful to avoid another "Procedure" just to get rid of scar tissue. Either way, I would suggest that a doctor's appointment is in order.

Hi. I am freaking out. I am 35, not sexually active. Have been single for 7 yrs..anyway - I just started about 6 months ago having spotting between periods. I freaked out and went and had a pap. Normal. I am not on the pill, but I did have an ovary removed 5 yrs ago it was a cyst...I bleed sometimes after excercise, but only slightly. I have a MORBID fear of cancer, and I am really afraid of any surgery, because I now have a hard lump on my right side where they took out my ovary. I am in slight pain almost always, and I am experiencing some very serious anxiety about all of this.... If my pap was normal, is it possible that I still might have cancer. Is this perimenopause? What the hell is wrong? I am scared. Sorry to be a baby but I am really scared. Any ideas before I run to the doctors an have a freak attack? Do I need my hormones checked? Help! I dread what tests I have to have done.....I am a chicken but I need advice.
