Have you tried Prometrium or Provera? Has your doctor ever done a full hormonal workup to determine what the cause is. If you recently went off the pill, but haven't had a period in 6 months, which is the right one? If you haven't had a period in 3 months and know you can't be pregnant, then its time for a workup. Did you report this to your doctor? Did the endometriosis part get checked out?

I am 25 years old and was put on The Pill when I was 16 to regulate my periods, as I rarely got a period, and also to control acne and my severe cramps. The Pill seemed to maybe have made th pain worse, giving both my doctors and myself suspicions that I may have Endometriosis. The Pill never made me acne better. In fact, because of the duration of taking oral contraceptives, I now suffer from dark patches all over my face (Melasma) which my doctor nor myself can seem to cure. I recently went off The Pill to see if these dark spots on my skin would disappear and I have not had a period in 6 months. consequently, I cannot have a period unless I am on The Pill. Doctors should not be so quick as to recommend The Pill to young females as a "Quick Fix" to solve all problems. If you ask me, it doesn't do a damn thing but make your whole body suffer later in life.
