I have had a cath a few times, but that was just for a clean catch urine specimin. So I believe it was just in the opening of the bladder. That was horrible! And I can't imagine anything worse. I am guessing this will be worse because it has to go in my bladder and look around in there. I am hoping that maybe my previous experience was worse because I was in preterm labor, and maybe the contractions made it more painful. I guess I just want to know what to expect and I am hoping to hear that it isn't as bad as I fear it will be.
