Two questions for MD" Hi... For the past few months I have this lump on the outside of my vagianal area. Sometimes it forms a lump and hurts, but most of the time it is just a little bump but is purple and the area around it is purple. I was wondering if you had any idea of what this could be. Im very worried about cancer, because just about every form of cancer runs in my family. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, after I had my daughter 8 years ago I developed a constant itch and discharge. Sometimes I itch so much that it bleeds and gets very sore. its only on the outside around the lips of the vagina. Every time I go to the gyno they treat me either for a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis. While im on the medicine i dont itch but when it runs out I go right back to itching all the time. Sometimes the discharge has an odor. Could you tell me what this might be? Thanks so much.
