Questionable Discharge

I started noticing this discharge that I originally thought was vaginal about 3 weeks ago. It is actually coming from my anal area and it ranges in color from clear to yellowish brown and has a sort of greasy appearance. There is no pain, no itching, and I have normal bowel movements. It appears with my feces and sometimes when I flatulate it is there too. I have not been sexually active with anyone in over 7 months. My sister said she had something similiar after she gave birth to my nephews. I also have PCOS. Is this something related to hormones? Should I be worried about it being a STD?
